The Vision Council's Focused inSights 2024: Frame Buyers report reveals key trends in how eye care providers (ECPs) manage their eyeglass frame inventories. The study, conducted with Eyecare Business magazine, surveyed 282 ECPs in mid-2024.

Main Findings:
๐Ÿ‘ Inventory Size: 78% of ECPs display 200-1,200 frames, with 70% updating inventory quarterly.
๐Ÿ‘ Style Updates: 73% refresh styles every 3-6 months.
๐Ÿ‘ Frame Preferences: Square and rectangular frames dominate, comprising 53% of stock.
๐Ÿ‘ Buying Influences: Patient preferences and sales data guide purchases.
๐Ÿ‘ Sourcing: Most frames are sourced through in-person reps, with a mix of boutique and corporate brands.

These trends help suppliers align their offerings to meet the needs of ECPs and patients.
