๐Ÿ‘๏ธโ€๐Ÿ—จ๏ธThe month of July is Dry Eye Awareness Month, and Bausch + Lomb have released findings from their 2025 Dry Eye Survey.
The research was gathered from 2000 adults based in the US, the survey found:
๐Ÿ‘“74% of adults report experiencing at least one dry eye symptom, such as dryness or blurred vision.
๐Ÿ“ฑNearly 60% of those surveyed believe that screen time is contributing to their symptoms.
๐Ÿ˜ฅMany sufferers still see Dry Eye Disease as a minor issue, with 46% of those suffering treating themselves, rather than seeking professional care.
Prevent Blindness is reinforcing the message that Dry Eye Disease is in fact a chronic and progressive disease, that can significantly impact quality of life.
