๐Ÿ‘ In January 2025, a team led by East London locum optometrist Hammad Mansoor provided essential eye care to refugees from Syria and Gaza in Jordanian camps. With 12 optometrists, two orthoptists, and two dispensing opticians, the initiative aimed to address vision and broader health needs. Despite security challenges and limited access to diagnostic equipment, the team raised over ยฃ100,000 to support their efforts. Mansoor hopes to expand these missions, ensuring continuous care for displaced communities.
