🤝 [Sightpath Medical](https://www.linkedin.com/company/sightpath-medical/) has officially acquired PennVista, a prominent provider of laser-assisted in situ keratomileusis (LASIK) services across multiple states. This strategic purchase aims to expand Sightpath Medical’s presence in key markets and bolster its efforts to support ophthalmic practices nationwide.

👁 “This transaction, coupled with our recent LASIK Doctor Network Project, underscores our commitment to helping comprehensive ophthalmology practices successfully offer LASIK to their patients”, stated <https://www.linkedin.com/in/ACoAAACR0WsBDLpuulXz916yuXv1lmjIRcGi_Jc>[Joel Gaslin](https://www.linkedin.com/in/joelgaslin/), President and CEO of Sightpath Medical.

🌎 With the acquisition, which was finalised on May 30, 2024, Sightpath Medical will now be able to provide a broader range of services and resourced to more practices across the United States. This move enhances their ability to assist ophthalmologists in delivering high-quality LASIK procedures to patients.
