September has been an exciting and impactful month for our team as weโ€™ve had the opportunity to engage with key events and important causes in the eye health industry.

๐Ÿ‘จโ€โš•๏ธ We kicked off the month by attending The European Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgeons (ESCRS), which was a great opportunity to learn from and connect with experts in the surgical space. The conference offered an invaluable opportunity to learn from the worldโ€™s top surgeons and researchers in ophthalmology. From exploring the latest developments in intraocular lenses (IOLs) to understanding new approaches in cataract and refractive surgery, the knowledge exchange was truly insightful.

๐Ÿ‘“ Following ESCRS, we were thrilled to attend SILMO Paris, one of the premier events for optics and eyewear professionals. It was an incredible experience meeting with industry leaders, exploring the latest technological innovations, and exchanging ideas on the future of vision care. From cutting-edge lenses to the newest optical trends, Silmo provided valuable insights into how we can continue to support and enhance eye health globally.

๐Ÿ—“๏ธ In addition to attending these important events, we also took the time to celebrate several key awareness initiatives this month. #NationalGuideDogMonth allowed us to recognize the incredible role guide dogs play in the lives of those with visual impairments. We also marked #MyopiaActionMonth, bringing attention to the growing global prevalence of myopia, especially in children, and the need for proactive management strategies. Finally, #NationalEyeHealthWeek was an excellent opportunity to highlight the importance of routine eye exams and the overall impact of eye health on wellbeing.

โ›ฐ๏ธ Looking ahead, the Vision Executives team are gearing up for a meaningful event next week. On Thursday 10th October, our team will be climbing Snowdon for #WalkforWorldSightDay. This is part of our effort to raise funds for the Cure Blindness Project. We are proud to be participating in this challenge, knowing that every step we take helps bring vital eye care services to those who need it most.

๐Ÿ˜Š We would be incredibly grateful for your support in helping us reach our fundraising goal for the Cure Blindness Project. Every donation, big or small, will go towards providing life-changing eye care to those in need. If you'd like to contribute to this important cause, please consider making a donation and help us make a real difference in the fight against preventable blindness. Thank you for your generosity!
