🧑‍🎤 Legendary musician Sir Elton John, 77, recently shared a personal health struggle, revealing that he has lost vision in his right eye due to a severe infection. His announcement came during a showing of The Devil Wears Prada in London’s West End, where he was escorted out by his husband, David Furnish, after struggling to see the stage.

🎤 During the event, Elton addressed the audience:
"I’ve lost my eyesight and cannot see the stage... It’s hard for me to see it, but I love to hear it, and it sounded good tonight."

👀 This emotional moment highlighted the impact of his vision loss on his personal and professional life. The infection, which struck during a trip to the South of France, has left him unable to see from his right eye for four months, while his left eye has also been affected.

🕶 Elton John’s openness underscores the importance of eye health and regular check-ups. Eye infections, if untreated, can cause severe complications. His story serves as a reminder to prioritize vision care, especially as we age.
